The Fund for the City of New York and the Metrix team are proud to announce the most significant release of Metrix in several years: Metrix 1.5!
Metrix 1.5 introduces the ability to track pledges and payments, membership, communications, events, and programs. We developed it by working very closely with a dozen other non-profit organizations to meet their needs. We believe that Metrix 1.5 does more "out of the box" to meet these needs than any version of Metrix we've previously released. We will post some screenshots for you soon.
Metrix 1.5 is also the foundation of Metrix Plus 2, a combination of free software and paid services the Fund introduced a few months ago. The Metrix Plus 2 package offers your organization the opportunity to have the Metrix team customize Metrix Plus 2 to meet your needs, import your data, and install it at your site.

Metrix 1.4 introduces several major new features:
We have completely redesigned the contacts directory so that you can now find, sort, and filter your contacts much more easily and quickly.
We have vastly improved the way customization works in Metrix. Metrix now supports the use and creation of "modules." Modules are a way to organize and package the customizations you have made. Modules will soon allow you to easily share customizations with other organizations.

Metrix Plus 2 will soon be available to not-for-profit organizations. Metrix Plus 2 is a package combines the core Metrix database with additional capabilities and support services. Metrix Plus 2 enables you to track membership, communications, programs, events, pledges, and payments. If you implement the Metrix Plus 2 package at your organization, the Fund will provide you with additional services that will help you determine what customizations you need, get your existing data in Metrix Plus 2, and train your staff to use Metrix.

A wiki is a collaboratively edited, frequently updated website. The Metrix team has created a very large wiki dedicated to supporting Metrix. The wiki contains all of our previous documentation in addition to dozens of new tips on using and customizing Metrix.
