Sorting Contacts

Sorting Contacts

You can use sort buttons on the Contact Toolbar to generate a quick sort of your contact records. If you already have applied a filter, you can use this feature to further sort your display of records.

Records can be sorted by the following fields:

  • Last name
  • First name
  • Nickname
  • Contact ID

Sorting Contact Records

  1. Click in the field that you wish to use as the basis of your sort.

    You can use either of the Sort buttons to sort in ascending (A-Z) or descending (Z-A) order.

  2. Press either of the Sort buttons on the Contact Toolbar.

Records will be displayed in sorted order.

Removing a Sort

  1. If you have just performed a sort and want to remove it, press the Remove Sort button on the Contact Toolbar .

The records will no longer be displayed in the sort order specified.
