Working with the To Do List

The To Do List form displays all tasks for the logged-in user from a specified date. Tasks that are completed or are upcoming in the future appear in black text, while tasks that are past due appear in red.

You can chose to view only tasks that are upcoming, or you can also choose to view past due or completed tasks. These options are set using the two checkboxes near the upper right portion of the To-Do List form.
Viewing Tasks from a Specific Date
- Select a start date from the List Tasks Due Since drop-down list by pressing the arrow and selecting a month and day.

The list will display tasks from that day onward.

Viewing Past-Due Tasks
You can specify whether or not you wish to view past-due tasks in the To Do List form. Tasks will appear as past-due when the due date has passed and they have not been marked as complete.
- To view past due tasks, check the Show Past Due Tasks checkbox.

This will display all past-due tasks, even those that were scheduled before the specified start date.
- If you wish to no longer view past due tasks, de-select the Show Past Due Tasks checkbox.

Incomplete and Inactive Tasks
You can specify whether or not you wish to view incomplete or inactive tasks in the To Do List form. Tasks will appear to be incomplete when there is no complete date; they will be inactive if you have marked the task as inactive.
- To include inactive or completed tasks in the To Do List form, select the Show Completed/Inactive Tasks checkbox.

This will display completed and inactive tasks from the specified start date forward.
- If you wish to no longer view the inactive or completed tasks, de-select the Show Completed/Inactive Tasks checkbox.

Viewing Task Information
You can view and edit details of a task from within the To Do List form.
- To view task details, select the task in the To Do List form. The selected task will appear with a highlight, and details for the task will appear in the lower portion of the form.

Editing Task Information
You can add and edit information about the task in the Task Information tab and add or delete linked contacts in the Contacts Linked to Task tab.
- To view or edit assigned users, select the User Names field and then change a user using the drop-down arrow. To add a user, go to the last row and select a name using the drop-down arrow. To delete a user, select the record and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
- To view or edit assigned contacts press the Contacts Linked to Tasks tab. Any contacts associated with the planned task will be listed.

- Press Add Contact to Task to display the Add Contact to Task form, where you can add, edit, and delete contacts. For further information, please refer to Editing Contacts and Assigned Users with Tasks.
